Benefits of Plastic Guttering
British Board of Agrement Approved: Our plastic (PVC) guttering systems are British Board of Agrement (BBA) approved and come with a 10 year guarantee. The BBA has been assessing and approving construction products since 1966.
Strength: PVC is Polyvinyl Chloride, a plastic polymer that is stronger than metal alternatives and cannot be dented or scratched. There are also no mortar joints (such as with concrete) or welded seams (such as with metal gutters) which leak and corrode over time. Instead, each section of guttering is a single length of plastic, which makes it exceptionally strong.
Lightweight Flexibility: PVC gutters are also flexible; their shape won’t distort when they bow slightly. The material is lightweight, so it won’t add unnecessary weight to your roof eaves.
Cost Efficient: Plastic guttering is extremely cost effective- the right product and workmanship will leave you with a high-quality, affordable guttering system that you won’t even have to think about. There are a few colours, styles and shapes to choose from, in order to best match the design and period of your home. Our experts are always happy to help with this.
Durability: PVC guttering is durable, and it will not warp, freeze, rust, fade or crack. It is seen as a superior building material in the construction industry because of its longevity in every type of weather. It has some give built into it, yet returns to normal when it is no longer weighed down. PVC guttering is also resistant to insects, vermin and even fire.
Variations of Plastic Guttering
Our guttering systems are available in white, black and brown colours. A variety of shapes are also at hand such as squared, rounded or OG shapes. Downpipes come in either a round or square profile. Whatever your preference or existing style of architecture, we can build a guttering system that compliments while it protects your home.
